Flu Activity Increasing In Ohio

Flu season is officially underway in Ohio, as the most recent data from the Ohio Department of Health shows. There were 92 flu-related hospitalizations in the state during the week ending December 2. That's compared to 19 hospitalizations during the same period last year. More than 250 people have been hospitalized since the start of the flu season.

Dr. Susan Rehm, infectious disease specialist at the Cleveland Clinic, explains why we're seeing this uptick in cases -- and how you can protect yourself.
