Culinary Students from Area High Schools Featured on “WVIZ/PBS Cooks! C is for Culinary Arts”
Premieres Saturday, December 5 at 11:00 a.m.

High school culinary students from around Northeast Ohio, the region’s next “Top Chef” talents, will showcase their cooking creativity on the latest installment of the WVIZ/PBS Cooks! series – C is for Culinary Arts. This special premieres Saturday, December 5 at 11:00 a.m. (and repeats later that same day at 3:00 p.m.).

Each student will be joined by his/her cooking instructor to demonstrate their techniques and share the recipes for their delicious dishes. To date, the students and their featured specialties include:

Also featured on the show, instructor Robert McGorray and one of his students from West Shore Career and Tech Center will prepare Roasted Pepper and Basil Frittata.

The WVIZ/PBS Cooks! C is for Culinary Arts cookbook, featuring over 100 recipes submitted by the featured schools, including the dishes prepared on the show, will be available to viewers who pledge their financial support to the station during the program.

Since the first WVIZ/PBS Cooks! program aired in 1995, WVIZ/PBS has produced and broadcast more than 50 live cooking shows covering every topic under the kitchen range hood: from soups to desserts; from cheese to chocolate; from meat to potatoes.
