WVIZ/PBS and 90.3 WCPN ideastream® Announces Election of New Chair and Officers
And Welcomes Six New Members to Board of Trustees
WVIZ/PBS and 90.3 WCPN ideastream® is pleased to announce the election of Robert C. Smith as new Chair of its Board of Trustees. Smith previously served on the Board as Vice Chair and replaces Edward P. Campbell, Immediate Past Chair, who stepped down following his third term. Re-elected for their second term are the following officers: Larry Pollock as Treasurer and William R. Stewart as Secretary.
Robert C. Smith is President and Chief Executive Officer of Spero-Smith Investment Advisers, Inc.
Larry Pollock is Managing Partner of Lucky Stars Partners LLC.
William R. Stewart is a Partner at Thompson Hine LLP.
Edward P. Campbell is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nordson Corporation.
In other action at the annual Board of Trustees meeting, six new members were welcomed. They are Kristen Baird Adams, Marcia W. Levine, Tucker H. Marshall, Jon H. Outcalt, Cathy Pollard, and Barbara S. Rosenthal. Additionally, Jeanette Grasselli Brown and Susan Turben were each elected to Trustee Emeritus.
Kristen Baird Adams is Senior VP and Director of Client and Community Relations for National City, now a part of PNC.
Marcia W. Levine is a Retired Associate Executive Director of Jewish Family Service Association of Cleveland.
Tucker H. Marshall is VP for the Reserve Group, a Northeast Ohio family-based private equity firm.
Jon H. Outcalt is Chairman for the Federal Process Corporation.
Cathy Pollard is a retired Nurse Clinician in Cardiology at Cleveland Clinic.
Barbara S. Rosenthal is VP of Resource Development for North Coast Community Homes.
Jeanette Grasselli Brown is a retired BP America executive and served more than 13 years on the Ohio Board of Regents.
Susan Turben is President of Turben Developmental Services FD.
“The Committee on Trustees continues to recruit outstanding candidates to serve on the Board of ideastream, and these recently elected candidates are no exception,” said Jerry Wareham, CEO of ideastream. “The addition of these six accomplished professionals to our Board will strengthen us more and continue to move us into the future.”
