WVIZ/PBS ideastream® and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park Present the Television Broadcast “A Day in the Park”
Thursday, September 24 at 8:30 pm

A Day in the Park, a special television broadcast that premieres Thursday, September 24 at 8:30 pm on WVIZ/PBS (encore Sunday, September 27 at 3:30pm), celebrates our own Northeast Ohio National Park – the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

In anticipation of Ken Burns’ upcoming series, The National Parks: America’s Best Idea, WVIZ/PBS ideastream®, the National Park Service, and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association invited viewers to share their park experiences through video or pictures. Nearly 1,000 photographs were submitted by amateurs and professionals alike to create this half-hour program of visual beauty. A Day in the Park presents many of these submissions for a four-season tour of the magnificent scenery and wildlife within a few miles of all Northeast Ohioans.

Connect to wviz.org/park to view some of the submissions, as well as other information about the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

This program was produced by WVIZ/PBS ideastream in cooperation with the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association, and the Cuyahoga Valley Photographic Society.
